Socks !

3 pairs done but not yet blogged...in order of most recently completed...


SFTTU #7 - Trilobite Socks - I made these ones for me but finished them tonight at my SIL's - turns out they fit her perfectly & she likes them so I gave them to her !

Cast off Jan 11, 2011 (counting as a 2010 project since on Jan 1, I only had 2" to finish!)

2.5 mm needle
JMCO 28 stitches
inc to 66 st for pattern
Heel - sl st heel with the stitches offset by 1 - don’t know the name for it

Magic Loop - 2AAT

The only adjustment to the pattern was to make it 68 stitches on the calf - I added one stitch at the beginning of each needle and knit that one stitch all the way up

  1. They're all pretty! I think the pattern on your yellow ones is similar to the pink socks Gaylen sent me a while back. I'll bet your SIL was delighted with the ones you gave her.

  3. Great looking socks! I like the colors of all three pairs.

    We are very anxious for our little fella to arrive :) I was very lucky and fought all the prints at Fabricville. Do you live near the Fabricville in Montreal? It must be so much bigger than ours. We never made it to Montreal last summer but maybe this summer and I will certainly make time for a fabric store shopping day :))))

  4. Oh what lovely socks. Look at you go. I love the top pair. That's an "eye of partridge" heel, where the slipped stitches are offset.
