Twice a year 2 friends and I desert our families to have a girls’ day out & today’s the day ! Plans are always subject to change once we meet up but it looks like a day spent in Old Montreal today with supper at a steakhouse in that area that we all like.
On the sewing side – I FINISHED the Ottobre capris ! They’re quite loose (next pair will be a size smaller for sure), but with summers that get quite a few 30°days, I’ll wear them anyway. I wore them yesterday to work, got complimented on them and found them very comfortable. I tried to take some pictures but what an awkward thing to do ! I’ve asked DH to take some for me and I’ll post a pic or two.

Congratulations! I can't wait to see a picture. I saw on the coat blog you questioned how to post a photo.
ReplyDeleteWhen you are adding a post, look at the icons across the top of the white screen. Move your cursor and find the icon that is labeled "Image". Click it. In the next screen you will have 2 choices to add photos. For photos stored on your computer you'll use the one on the left. Click the browse button to find your picture. Click the image and add it to the page. Then click the upload button. (gosh, I think the button is labeled "upload".
To load photos from the internet.
copy/paste the URL where the photo is located into the box and click upload.
To load a picture from another website, i.e. a picture of a pattern from Vogue patterns. Right click on the picture. Choose "Properties". Then copy the URL that ends in JPG. Paste this URL into the box on the right side of the screen. Click "upload".
You'll notice a couple of very irritating thing when you load the picture.
1. The picture will be at the top of your post.
2. The line spacing will have changed if you've already typed a post.
Click on the picture and drag it to where you'd prefer it to be.
Then fix the spacing of your paragraphs, etc.
Whew! If I think of anything else I'll let you know. Gotta run the thunder storm is coming back.
Thanks Claire - I figure it ought to be no different than putting up the pic on my profile - but I haven't played with it yet.
ReplyDeleteI'll try to get DH to take a pic today & get it loaded up.
We were lucky yesterday, no thunderstorms rolled in at all :-)
